Karen Debas completed her B. Sc in Psychology at McGill University and completed her Ph.D. in Neuropsychology at the University of Montreal in 2013. Her published doctoral work focused on sleep and memory. She has been practicing as a neuropsychologist at the CIUSSS de l ‘Est-de-l ‘Île-de-Montréal (CEMTL) since 2015 and currently works at the Centre multiservice geriatric. In addition to her clinical work, she acts as a mentor and trainer for front-line professionals. She also shares information on cognitive aging and neurocognitive disorders on her personal website (karendebas.com) to promote a better understanding of this clientele by the public and health care professionals.
