Panel on new technologies and adaptation to neurocognitive disorders (French)
During COVID-19, seniors' participation decreased significantly due to their lack of knowledge of technology, excluding them from community life. The "Ainés branchés" project specifically targets the following objectives
- To support the social participation and inclusion of seniors
- To provide material computer assistance through a loan or a donation to seniors who cannot own their own computer
In addition to:
- Promote volunteerism among seniors and other generations (computer trainers).
By giving courses to seniors, we offer them direct technological support, but we also take the opportunity to explain and include the benefits of communication, through these trainings. We rely on the participatory dimension of the senior, not only at the time of the training, but also in the activities of the sector.
