Our mission

Our mission is to improve the quality of life of caregivers in Quebec, and to ensure that they are recognized for what they do. Caregivers can contact the Info-Aidant helpline to find local services, important information and referral services. Professional counselors provide personalized support, listening services and referrals to senior caregivers and professionals by telephone and email. This free service is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

Community mobilization

Since 2012, l’Appui Montréal is mobilizing community organizations to strengthen their services for caregivers. It funds services and ensures the quality and the suitability of these services in relation to the needs of caregivers. Attention is paid to ensure that they are accessible both financially and geographically. The proposed services are complementary to those of the Health and Social Services Network. L’Appui Montréal is involved in the Alzheimer's plan and ensures that services are developed specifically for people with neurocognitive disorders : services of respite (day or home centre), psychosocial support, training and information.
